Something birthed inside of me. An idea. A concept. It came from music and ideas. Conceived in lyrics and emotion. I wanted to bring it to light and capture: Fire and water. Joy and sorrow. Love and loss. Passion and longing. Feeding the creative inside is not only a good idea, sometimes it’s a necessary one. Adele’s song Set Fire to the Rain was the inspiration, lyrically for the shoot. The first time I heard it, it translated into visual images in my brain.
Hopefully this effort in some way tells truths about relationships and the doors within them.
